قُلۡ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلنَّاسِ
Say, “I seek refuge with the Sustainer of people,

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
مَلِكِ ٱلنَّاسِ
“The Sovereign of people,
إِلَٰهِ ٱلنَّاسِ
“The God of people,
مِن شَرِّ ٱلۡوَسۡوَاسِ ٱلۡخَنَّاسِ
“From the evil of the susurrous, elusive tempter,
ٱلَّذِي يُوَسۡوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ ٱلنَّاسِ
“Who suggests [and insinuates] within the psychology of people —
مِنَ ٱلۡجِنَّةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ
“From all [temptation to evil by] invisible beings as well as [visible] people.”
